FUNDAMENTALS OF HOME INSPECTION – 120 HOURS CLASSROOM

Our coursework and presentation materials are written by the National Home Inspector Exam (NHIE) and follow the content outline of the NHIE and the State of Washington WAC 308-408C. Curriculum includes: site conditions; exterior components; roofing; structural system; electrical system; cooling system; heating system; insulation, moisture management, and ventilation systems; plumbing system; interior components; fireplace and chimney systems; permanently installed kitchen appliances; pool and spa systems; lawn irrigation system; alternative construction methods; analysis and reporting; and business operations. Emphasis is placed on Washington state inspection laws, standards of practice, business practices, communication and ethics.

 

Included in the course is the NHIE Home Inspection Manual & Study Guide.
